We had a brilliant weekend taking the #RazorsOnTour show to Dorset for The Big One 4 Festival. The 7:00am flight to Bournemouth didn't even put us off as we had plenty of laughs & hopefully recruited some new Razor fans after a stomping Saturday night set in front on a large enthusiastic Specialized crowd! A big thank you to all at Specialized for looking after us so much. Next up is our EP Launch on Friday the 27th of Nov at Stereo so hopefully we will see you all there!

We are excited by our very first trip down to the south coast of England on Saturday. We will be playing on Saturday night at 8:00pm as part of The Big One 4 Festival. This event is organised by Specialized and will be promoting the Combat Cancer album that came out earlier this year, featuring 68 different versions of songs written by The Clash/Joe Strummer. As well as lots of ska based tunes, we will also be playing our version of the Joe Strummer tune Johnny Appleseed which features on the Combat Cancer album. For more information about Specialized/The Big One 4/Combat Cancer then check out http://www.specializedproject.co.uk/ All funds raised go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The whole festival will be broadcast live on Wolfman Radio so if you can't make it down to Dorset then you can listen live at http://www.wolfmanradio.co.uk/
It will be great to travel down south all together, although Lesley and Ali will be taking the "tour truck" with all the gear, leaving very early on Saturday morning. The rest of the band will be flying down early on Saturday morning & coming back on Sunday afternoon. Hopefully there will be some Razors coming along to Dorset to check us out, but if not then check us out on the radio. #RazorsOnTour

"An awfully entertaining EP from an equally entertaining entourage that provide us with a spiffing collection of four tunes formed from a strong blend of soul, blues and a little hint of jazz"... Jason Small, Local Music Scene (Full review here... http://thelocalmusicsceneblog.com/2015/10/26/review-the-cut-throat-razors-motowns-lost-it-soul/ )
"She's My Baby... is a groovy tune no self-respecting Mod or Modette would pass up the chance of sashaying to on the dance floor. Great horns and Sixties vibe that'll see The Cut Throat Razors fans bouncing at gigs"... Wow... What an amazing gig it was this afternoon in The Spiegeltent, Paisley. The Spree Festival was brilliant and it was a packed house in a great venue. We loved seeing queues at the door & hope everyone managed to get in OK. There was certainly lots of money being raised for the Teenage Cancer Trust! The stage was certainly shaking with all 11 of us on stage... Lesley even managing to make a mad dash with her baritone sax to join us for some "Johnny Appleseed" action! It was a fantastic homecoming for Scott, being a local Paisley lad...
Here is a great panoramic shot taken by Gary from the drum stool...
